INGENUITY AND TEAMWORK

With an adventurous spirit as our guide, we began our journey at Cap de Rec, moving determinedly towards Viliella. There, we recharged our energy to tackle the climb to Talltendre. Trails, paths, and a bit of road led us to our final destination: the Pumptrack of Bellver de Cerdanya, the most fun moment of an exceptional day for the riders of the Big Bike Camp by Orbea. After 30 kilometers of ups and downs, we set aside our fears and challenged our limits. Yeah!

The Wild Adventure camps and the Cabirols of Aventura Júnior started the morning together, immersed in orientation and the egg game. The rules are clear and simple: more milestones, more points, more materials to protect the egg. Only 3 out of 9 eggs survived, demonstrating the challenge’s difficulty. In the afternoon, Wild Adventure dedicated ourselves to cleaning the surroundings of the Estany de l’Orri, closing the day with a refreshing shower, a comforting dinner, and a well-deserved rest. Aventura Cabirols spent the afternoon walking to the Prat de la Cot Refuge, where we built a bridge to cross the river and access the refuge, showcasing ingenuity and teamwork.

Bold Adventure Camp and the Isards group of Aventura Júnior had an intense day on two wheels. With 25 kilometers and 600 meters of elevation gain, we reached the Estanys de la Pera. There, we enjoyed a comforting lunch and immersed ourselves in the crystal-clear waters to cool off. On the way down, we made a strategic stop at Pollineres to perfect our technique, arriving at the camp with time to rest and enjoy the achievements of the day.

The youngest ones started the day energetically, building cabins and demonstrating exceptional collaboration. We marveled at the tadpoles, leeches, and other creatures camouflaging with the river stones, learning at all times to observe and respect nature. In the afternoon, we rode through the forest with the Beginner’s Horse Riding Camp, ending the day preparing our backpacks for tomorrow’s hike to the Estany de Setut.

A day that makes us reflect on the importance of ingenuity, teamwork, and respect for nature. Every challenge overcome and every smile shared drives us to continue exploring, learning, and growing together in this week full of adventures, but especially of first times.
