What a hot and sunny day! Yes, even up here at 1,956 metres it’s so hot! The reapers are already up and working in the cereal fields on the plain. Now we can really feel the summer in the Cerdanya.
Summer has so many good things to offer that we can’t waste any time:
Minairons started with the Orientation Race and ended up walking barefoot on the grass, building bridges over the river and getting a bath from head to toe.
Aventura Juniors take turns doing mountain biking, Orientation Races and Community Service. Can you guess how far we cycled by looking at the pictures? We sweated a lot! Come on, take a guess and say something.
Bold Adventure dare to get lost in the Cap del Rec forest during the Orientation Race, up to the Torrent de l’Orri and the path to Pollineres. It doesn’t look like it, but wow, what a sweat, this forest is really big!
Wild Adventure went down by mountain bike to the Llosa valley, we took a dip in the Salt del Molí to cool down, and then we went down, I’m talking quietly now so nobody hears me, to Prullans and the Hípica 4 Potes to go horse riding.
And we started the beginners’ riding camp by carrying the saddles. Are you sweating already? Getting the grass up and down, getting to know these big animals, cleaning the helmets, and then it’s off into the countryside for a ride!
We had dinner at 8 pm, and in the six weeks we’ve been up here, it was the first day we could eat without long sleeves. And even playing the night game, we ended the day with a good sweat!
